Urban Homesteading
About Us: We, the Urban Farming & Homesteading Action Research Team, are a collective of UCSC students who have come together to establish a food foraging network for the campus community and Santa Cruz. Thanks to our class known as Education for Sustainable Living Program (ESLP), we were able to work as an organized and collected group to implement this website.
Mission Statement: We seek to create a network in which all those willing to trade and share their food supplies and materials can do so. We are looking only to assist the process of community networking, and are open to growth and ideas. We aim to encourage and promote community building, and establish neighborly relationships among food lovers, growers, and everyone in between.
